Green Roof medal winners at Chelsea

Togenkyo A Paradise on EarthSedum Green Roofs from leading turf specialist Lindum have featured among this year’s Gold medal winners at Chelsea.   “Togenkyo – A Paradise on Earth” designed by Kazuyuki Ishihara and “Time to Reflect -The Homebase Garden”, designed by Adam Frost both received Gold medals.   “Togenkyo – A Paradise on Earth” was also awarded Best Artisan Garden.

Stephen Fell, Managing Director, Lindum said:  “It’s been another successful year for our specialist turf at Chelsea and I’m particularly thrilled to see Sedum Green Roofs featuring among the Gold medal winners.   Green Roofs have a significant role to play in Greening urban spaces and mitigating climate change, and these gardens showcase just what an amazing feature they can be.”

Lindum products also feature on Alan Titchmarsh’s display garden “From Moors to the Sea”.   The garden celebrates the 50th year of the RHS’s “Britain in Bloom” campaign as well as Alan’s 50 years in horticulture.   Starting in the Yorkshire Dales and ending at the sea, this stunning garden features Lindum’s Wildflower meadow turf.
