A dense Bent/Fescue sward with a very high purity and low thatch content.

Features:

  • Mowing height at harvest 8-10mm
  • The final composition is usually 60-70% Bent and 30-40% Fescue
  • Accurate botanical composition carried out by an independent RIPTA agronomist available

Uses:

  • Golf Greens & Bowling Greens – ideal for top high Bent greens

Sown mixture:

  • 30% Bent
  • 30% Chewings Fescue
  • 40% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
  • The final composition is usually 60-70% Bent and 30-40% Fescue

LT1 is available in three formats:

  • Grown to order on USGA specification Rootzone
  • Washed to avoid any soil contamination
  • Grown as standard on sandy loam soil

Roll Size:

  • Standard rolls: 1 square metre
  • Large rolls: 0.73m or 1.05m x 28m
  • Final thickness: 15-20mm

Establishment time: 7-8 weeks

Weight: 15-20KG per square metre depending on saturation

Specification Guidance Notes:

  • Turf to comply with the TGA (Turf Grass Growers Association) Standard and BS3969
  • The turf soil should be of sandy loam nature with no stones.
  • The grass will be dense, of uniform green colour, free from broadleaved weeds and not visibly affected by pest of disease.
