Our very own slice of Chelsea 2020
This year the world’s greatest flower show went digital for the first time, bringing a new line up each day, with world leading garden designers, plant experts and practical gardening advice. We decided to jump on board and continue to build our planned Chelsea 2020 stand, right at our headquarters here in York.
What started off as an idea to utilise a wasted space at our special products area, where we grow our Wildflower, Sedum and WowGrass products, we set to work clearing the area.
We wanted to show off as many of our diverse products as possible and their different uses, ranging from our grass felt and wildflower matt products, to our green roofs, which we think Roger and the team managed to do perfectly. All the while creating a range of features to attract pollinators to the stand.
We created a small Wildfower walkthrough meadow using reclaimed Yorkshire Stone, our Wildflower Matt product and our Grassfelt product.
In the near future we are planning to turn the stand into an information centre for all of our clients and visitors to see our wide range of products in situ.

“Due to the Covid-19 situation, we had to change our Chelsea 2020 plans quite quickly, we decided to build the stand here up in York and it turned out better than we could’ve possibly expected, and the great thing is, we can keep it here permanently. I would just like to say a thank you to the minimal staff that helped with this build under social distancing measures. The whole project turned out to be a huge success” Roger Moore, Contracts Manager, Lindum Turf.
