RHS Flower Shows
Flower Shows across the country are where we can really get our creative hands working and produce products that aren’t the norm. We are well known on the flower show scene for delivering the unexpected.
We work very closely with designers and contractors to achieve a certain look that they desire. We love working together to help bring their visions to life. With months of preparation it is fantastic to see the gardens and trade stands looking amazing at the shows.
With over 30 clients in 2019 and in excess of 1600 square metres of product, it is fair to say the run up was very exciting.
All of our clients have such different ideas and visions so it is always a pleasure to be involved with such unique creations and talented minds. From Lindum Sedum Mat walls to Lindum Cowpats, it seems there is nothing we cannot deliver – literally!
Last year we supplied several Gold, Silver Gilt and Silver medal winning show gardens. Seeing the gardens come to life with our product and how much it means to the designers is something we will never tire of.
It is very rare that we have to turn any request away. From manicured lawns to long grasses, wildflower turf to sedum roofs and walls, also specific plug planting into any product, we have it covered. We have even been asked for a cowpat for the 2018 Welcome to Yorkshire garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and we didn’t disappoint, the cowpat made its journey from sunny Yorkshire to Chelsea. It was spotted by many people and became quite a spectacle, even making national news.

Being involved in show gardens is something special. More times than not we need to know about garden requirements long before the show. Generally we know any time after the close of play at the flower show to January the following year, especially when it comes to RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We also enjoy involvement in providing trade stands with our materials. Over the years, trade stands have become more and more adventurous in the way they like to show off their company.
We have worked along many 5 star trade stand winners and continue to provide more and more companies with a backdrop to be proud of, be it sculptures, furniture or machinery, we have something to suit everyone.
Speaking of trade stands, we are exhibited ourselves at RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time this year and are set to return in May 2020! We are so excited for everyone to see our exhibit and cannot wait to hear what you all think. The main focus is around our campaign ‘#SAVETHEBEES’. Bees in particular are very close to our hearts here at Lindum and we love that we can play a part in helping them. Bees are in decline all over the world and by introducing more biodiversity to gardens we can help prevent this. Our stand will be full of buzzing bees visiting us and showing the visitors just what they can achieve in their own gardens.
We will have a couple of green roofs on show and a wildflower area to show you just how you can make a huge impact in a small space. As well as Lindum Wildflower turf and Lindum Sedum Mat we will be showcasing our well known landscaping grades too.
We don’t want to give too much away at this stage but we hope to see as many people as possible at the show!
